When it comes to Eveline Flynn, it is hard to tell where reality ends and fantasy begins. The new musical, The Manufactured Myth of Eveline Flynn, details her life – either real or imagined – at Theatre Three. Don’t miss what promises to be a buzzworthy performance this Sunday, February 3rd!
A brand-new musical by Dallasites Michael Federico (co-creator, On The Eve) and Ian Ferguson (Booth, On The Eve), The Manufactured Myth of Eveline Flynn follows a young woman whose very birth signaled a great change in the world. Oh yes, a momentous, paramount, epic change… at least that’s what she tells us. In actuality, as Eveline loses her connection to her family and friends, her grasp on reality slowly slips away.
With songs spanning styles from contemporary musical theater to Abba-esque disco pop to intergalactic punk, The Manufactured Myth of Eveline Flynn takes you along for the ride with Eveline’s comedic and sometimes heartbreaking saga, as the boundaries between her waking life and her far-flung reveries fall away.
This all-new musical is based upon the book by Michael Federico. The show is directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni and music is directed by Vonda K. Bowling. Music and lyrics were created by Ian Ferguson.
Tickets to witness The Manufactured Myth of Eveline Flynn range from 10 to 20 dollars and may be purchased online. For tickets and more information, visit www.theatre3dallas.com.
