From Orphan to Treasury Head, Hamilton Tells a Little-Known Story in American History

Would you consider yourself a theatre enthusiast? Dallas Summer Musicals produces, presents and promotes excellence in live musical theatre with year-round performances for diverse audiences of all ages. This season, Dallas Summer Musicals presents “Hamilton.”

“Hamilton” is the story of the unlikely Founding Father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country's first scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy.

George Washington, Eliza Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton's lifelong friend/foil Aaron Burr all make their mark in this astonishing new musical exploration of a political mastermind. The musical made its Off-Broadway debut at The Public Theater in February 2015, where its engagement was sold out. On Broadway, it received enthusiastic critical reception and unprecedented advance sales.

The musical will run for approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, which includes intermission. Tickets prices vary and may be purchased online at https://www1.ticketmaster.com. You don’t want to miss it!
